Q!

Hi, Super back logged whut. Yeah, I've been updating my LJ more often than I do this one.
Not like I have gone out and done something fun in a long time anyway lawls. So, Sorry~ hahahaha. and I've super back logged as well on the other blog - in regard to reviews and etc. :B
the idea is there, just havent quite gotten off my butt to do anything more productive on it D': and here I sit and bitch about being so bored....lawls. well, not really bored.

My life has revolved around......working. working out. bitching at the couch that I dont want to get up and go to the gym. dieting/destroying my diet lawwwwls. staying up to play COD or MVC3. Rinse & Repeat.
clearly unhappy with the fact that the car is dead and I'm bumming rides off people :D duurrrhuuurrhuur and still working just 1 job. D': need to get a 2nd job soon so I can afford to finance another car and not be so broke after rent is paid ;;
SD, why you so expensive XD;; lawls.... doubt LA is any better :'D

ehehehehe. my friends are all planing costumes for the up coming cons and here I am completely messing up my dates for what con is coming up and whatnot, as many of you have noticed i've taken a step back from competing and making costumes in general, yay hobo living, lawls. Well, hopefully by next month once I've moved into an actual place, I'll have room to work @__@ now its just a matter of finding the $$$ to make costumes again lawls. Cosplay is an expensive hobby. LAWLS. So plans for Anime Conji next month: Bridget from Guilty Gear (the blue ver) hahaha I'll work on it perhaps the weekend before the con after all the bills have been paid. LOL. Oooh my. Borrowing wigs from friends and probably need to find my blue contacts or I'll just wear the black circle lenses I have ;;
 
lol, also, another update. Changed my hair color again ;;


the red was amazingly fun but not fun when you're trying to match extensions to it and it fades insanely quickly and your hair extensions dont exactly match LAWWWWWWLS! So I went with a chocolate brown but I kept a streak of red in there :'D just to keep things interesting. Lawls. I need to eventually bleach out streaks into it so I can match it with the Ruki Filth in the Beauty dreads too. mhmm.

I keep telling myself, SOMEDAY when my hair is LONGER (duuuurr whenthe hell that will ever be.....;__; duuuurr) I'll go red again coz we all know my dream is to get LONG RED HAIR LIKE PARK BOM >DDDDD from 2ne1 lawwwls

anyways, on to the back logged event that I- by some form of miracle made it to the Q store opening and also to the Huntington Library with Ash :D

I jumped on the train to Fullerton that morning of and met up with Ash, it was still pretty early on, in the day so we decided to head to the Huntington library. supppppper breath taking amazing place btw! :O i'd love to go there again!!!
(minus the damn $20 admission fee xDDD)

the library is famous for their art gallery, the gardens! (japanese & chinese tranquility gardens) and the tea room and whatnot~ I didnt get a chance to check out the museum since Ash got lost trying to pick me up lawwwl so we got there alittle late. NOT to mention we also kinda got lost trying to find the place LOOOOL! we're amazing. i think we need to invest in a GPS. I keep telling myself that whenever I go to LA >D






it was a good walk just trying to walk around the place and even still, we didnt even get to go to ALL the places. Def need to go there earlier next time. LAWLS >D and perhaps bring a smaller camera instead of lugging my DSLR next time lawls. I brought it with me initially for the store opening ;;

Afterwards we tried to head to K-town for Rozen's karaoke but when we got there we forgot one of our friends was under 21and we got there after 10:30, which meant, everyone had to be over 18+?....lawls. Fail.
So we trecked back to Lil Tokyo for Max Karaoke but the waiting time was another 40 mins! So we didnt really start Karoke till almost midnight! lawwwls.

We got out of Karaoke by 2amish then had to rush back to Sd since Cathy starts work at the bakery by 5am! ahahaha.

ANIME LOS ANGELES 2011

How was everyone's Christmas and New Years? I've been backlogged once again!
Christmas was more or less pretty uneventful. Stayed in S.D for a bit playing Black Ops before trekking out to LA to visit relatives, but clearly we got there pretty late and had to leave pretty early for my bro's gfs' family's xmas. @.@ll yeah dont ask....

For New Years, we booked a hotel for 2 nights at the Quality Inn Suites by Denny's to 'get away' for the weekend since the Condo was packed with bro's GF's family /:
Drinks were had, games were played. It went alright for the most part.

But moving on~

Anime Los Angeles (ALA 2011) was this past weekend and this is probably the quikest I've done an entry LOLZ! Yay for procrastination and backlogging!

but first! new year, new'>http://img267.imageshack.us/i/photo0008pola.jpg/">new hair/look! after being blonde for over 9-12 months! (wow, new record for me to be honest, but really, I'm sure I spend 3 months out of the 9or 12 being greyish silver. OTL oh...so much breakage D': there) I decided to go back and rock this year with RED hair. I'd be lieing if I said I didnt miss the blonde but I try not to and simply enjoy the red and rockin' it. The only downside with red - as most of us dye hards know. Red is a BITCH to up keep (and so is with blue...OTL) I hope I can discipline myself to keep the red for just as long as I had kept the blonde! Hahaha. And yes, going red - blonde would definitely be a challenge if I decide to go back and rock the golden locks again HAHA.

But yes! ALA!

I ended up driving up to LA Friday night afterwork, but first met up with Mikey in Clairemont for In & Out before we headed up to LA @.@ we made it up there in record timing, we probably left around 9ish and got there shortly at 10ish? Haha. Went straight to North Hollywood to meet up with Shou since she has been in dire need of a haircut and color. It ended up being a double process dye job.

First was bleaching then throwing in a golden beige brown color and then finally cutting! After all that, we probably ended up finishing around 3 AM? or 4AM? Passed the time watching retarded Youtube Videos @.@ll and finally passing out on her floor at 5ish and then my phone going off at 6 TAT when Toshi was arriving from Stockton. GAAAAAAAH So yay sleep deprived~ AHAHAH
we made our way to the hotel (I refused to get out of my PJs roflmao~ and ended up checking into the hotel early (YAY they let us check in early) and we every more or less took an hr or two nap before getting up again to get ready for the con!

Ash - being the sleepy beauty as she is, didnt really WAKE UP till close to noon! HAHAHA poor Michael, he was probably spazzing going 'where the hell issssss sheeee' lawls.
They ended up reaching the convention around pass noon, 1 or 2 already haha! Almost 3 I think! HAHA!

Flash forward~ we didnt really do much at the con, just walked around, hanged out at karaoke. Took some photos and mingled with everyone. Everyone was more or less too poor to buy a badge and even if I had a chance to borrow someone's badge. It'd be bad for me to even try and go inside the dealers hall and just get super feel bad coz I cant spend money >D

After wondering around the con for awhile we ended up hitting The Boat Sushi and Thai Cuisine somewhere near Sepulveda Blvd. Food was good, it was cold at night and after dinner, we went back to the hotel to check the internet for a good karaoke place to hit >:D
hello K-town!!!!! We went to Rozen! It was AWESOME, drinks were pretty shweet >:D

I ordered the Melon Soju and omfffgggg totallly need that shit again :O it was so sweet! I probably could have drank the entire pitcher and then some lawwwwls it was that sweet >:3

ended up stumbling back to the hotel at around 2 or 3, kicked it some more. Crashed in the other room with Toshi and gave up my bed to Shou who ended up spending the night. I think me and Tosh were up a good while just chatting it up. Sad since we dont see each other often enough </3

Oh HIIII! only took me long enough to finally get a copy of this game since my brother recently bought a PS3 while I was gone for ALA.
Hah, speaking of ALA~ I'm procrastinating and completely back-logged on that entry :B photos are up on my facebook though.
caliber of cosplayers were once again a hit or miss. Not gonna harp much on it since lately its becoming rare that cosplayers even bother making their own costumes anymore. I remember before when people use to spazz over that shit. but now its slowly becoming the norm to simply purchase your outfit versus making it. Just like how most eastern(asian) cosplayers are.

I personally am pretty much w/e on that subject, had it been me a few years back, I would have looked down upon it as well, but whatever xD

my only qualms about this game to be honest is the fact that you cant play Kenshin Uesugi and you're forced to play it in English Dub. Atleast the english dub is done pretty well and not half assed :D

Went out today with Megan, walked around Fashion Valley mall since one of my shoots got cancelled. We were pretty much dressed to go out anyway so why not. I tried not to spend anything while I was there xD thought I -was- curious to try and find Anna Sui's cosmetics and fragrance line and possibly trying a sniff or two and maybe getting a smaller bottle of it someday :D since I'm a sucker for good packaging and well, I was in the mood to try something new. We went to two different malls and different stores. No luck, did NOT find any Anna Sui stuff at all. I did stumble upon Versace :D oooooohhhhh

loooolz. but in the end, I ended up getting 2 fragrances from Victoria Secret. Which isnt bad. 1 body spray and 1 'perfume'. Not bad.
lawls, not gonna lie, I ended up getting a Cupcake fragranced body spray. I probably wont wear it daily == just coz the smell of cupcakes is cute and all, its kinda sickening if its too much LOOOLz and I got one of their newest fragrance;

I know their fragrances are cheap and they last just ok. I figured this would be my 'everyday wear' fragrance. I try not to use the more expensive ones unless I'm going somewhere special xDll and I do not harp on Victoria Secret Fragrances at all. Sometimes I just wish they last longer. but its ok~

Went to several stores; Forever 21 and H&M. Nothign really stood out to me, which was a good thing. I wanted to get new button ups but those can wait.

I totally saw the Versace one on Nordstrom Rack for $30, versus the $45-65 price from Sephora and other stores :x
someday I'll be able to collect them and display them nicely on my nonexistent vanity table >D lawls

edit: after thinking about it, I doubt I'lll actually be able to use a vanity - a real vanity table, it wouldnt really make sense or work with most of the possible furniture I'm thinking off in my room xD;; or my soon-to-be room :o and I've been browsing Ikea online anyway and I definitely am going to need one with drawers to keep my stuff in and whatnot /: blargh.

godforbid I get a copy of it for the PSP. and looolz. yes. it DOES exist for the psp :D

LUNA SEAAAA

but it was still mad epic.

Last weekend was again another epic weekend >D never have I thought I'd be having so much fun :3
I remember always bitching about being left behind and being lame LOLz

So after PMX, Brit decided she wants to come back to Socal to hangout again after Thanksgiving
so we all set on the date for Dec.4th. Which, just so happened to be the same day as Luna Sea's concert! D:
but being the brokeasses that we are, me, Toshi and Ash were going to go kill time at the Santa Monica Pier
while brit and Nick are at the Luna Sea concert on their lil' date. Took the train to Fullerton
where Ash got to pick me up. While at the train, there was another girl with short blue hair
who had a red plaid skirt and a hide jacket xD I was totally thinking she was totally heading to Union Station
for the Luna Sea concert - later on, I was sure right coz I saw her there AHAHAHA

but anyways, so yeah, when Ash picked me up, we headed to the Getty Museum despite Brit and Toshi
not being able to making it till late afternoon! /: they were suppose to get there early
coz Brit was originally the one that wanted to go to the Getty Museum for her school project,
but I wanted to go anyway xD coz we had nothing better to do early in the morning and I like museums :D

We ended up going to the one in Los Angeles versus the one in Malibu which I *really* wanna see but Ash
mentioned that you probably need to make an appointment to get in to that one TAT and I am DETERMINED to go see it now
....someday LOLZ!
the one in Los Angeles was actually ALOT smaller than I had imagine! @.@ I spent the last couple days at work
watching the videos so I can figure out which Getty I wanted to see first ROFLMAO but then obviously
the answer ended up being the LA one since...duuurr appointment. Fail.

There was actually alot of people there than expected - for a saturday infact, iunno I always figure

after a good hour or two, I think?... we finished touring the area and decided to head to get inline for the Luna Sea concert
since Nick wouldnt be getting there for a while but we got inline as early as we can, which was around noon O.O
since the tickets we all had was standing room only >D
but in the end, I wasnt feeling like squeezing myself up to the front, I kinda just wanted to sit back and just enjoy myself
so I ended up walking back to the back of the pit - even though there were alot of taller people
ahead of us, it was ok, i just wanted to go there and enjoy the music LOLz
AND HAD I KNOWN we were going to go to the concert! I'd worn my concert going boots! ROFLMAO and not my creepers

I wasnt going to lie, I was SUPER tired during the concert and it was hot/cold the entire day ROFLMAO
but I was still so stoked to be there >D good band, good company <3
the show started on time! OMFG yes! and I really enjoyed this show much more than the X Japan concert!
mostly because:
1. No crappy opening band
2. THE SHOW STARTED ON TIME
3. The band actually PLAYED! >:D and no, dont get me wrong, I'm not saying X japan didnt play or that
they werent amazing but I felt this show was much much better.
The band had a better vibe, energy and feel throughout the whole show

so I definitely enjoyed the show :3 and they had a pretty good upbeat set list!
and I probably had just DIIIIED the moment Sugizo busted out the violin Q___Q

there were so many people there wearing X japan tshirts and Luna Sea shirts HAHA tempted to get a tshirt but didnt HAHA xD its aight.
since I wanted to start collecting band shirts again at shows lols as memorabilias.

After mingling around, we headed to Dennys to grab some gruuuubbb since NONE of us has HAD ANYTHING in our syste the entire day
I think the only tthing I had on me the entire day was a small box of Pocky which I shared with Ash
and obviously, Ash being Ash /: just had nicotine xD LOLz

we met up with Leslie, Jocy and Amorita at Dennys <3
jokes, food and drinks were had >:D

after dinner and whatnot, we had to go and drive Ash's friend back all the way to Walnut and drive all the way back to Glendale
to crash at Stephs since we ended up giving the hotel room to Nick and Brit and her friends /:

sadly, me and Toshi were still UUUPPP lolololz. Ash totally was so ready to crash TAT she was so awesome
for driving us AROUND everywhere Q__Q and I always feel guilty for keeping her from her naptimes LOLz
but we ended up forcing ourselve to sleep at 4???? but if it was up to me, I'd totally have been out and about still >D
but we figured since Toshi and Brit came lateeeeee that they would be leaving LLAATTEE Sunday afternoon.
Q_Q sadly that wasnt the case.

Me and Tosh rolled out of bed as soon as steph got ready and left for work at 8ish? Me and Tosh walked down teh 2 blocks
to the hotel to check out of the hotel since it was under my name /: and just let sleeping beauty sleep in a few more mins/hours

but sadly, they ended up having to leave at 12:30 but we managed to whine/bitch/cry xD to let Brit say 1:30pm
LOLz! but that totally threw our plans for Little Tokyo - Froyo and Purikura trip out the window OTL

I blew up Shou's phone to demand her to roll out of bed and meet us at the Galleria >D

I ran to Urban Outfitters to get some overpriced polaroid film for my Instax mini 7s since the ones I bought at
amazon awhile ago was the WRONG ONE and I was waiting for the refund to come in to order a new set
=3=ll but fail. And since we werent going to do Purikura, I decided to fuckit and drop the dough for a pack of film TAT
but its ok, memories are priceless :D and polaroids are always so much more fun!!






So after meeting up with everyone at the Americana we all decided to journey on forth to PORTO's
for sandwhiches and danishes >:D



not even halfway or a quarter of the way, Ash gave up...LOL and Toshi ended up carrying her ROFLMAO

got to Porto's and everyone got food,me and Toshi ended up just sharing half a dozen of their AMAAAZZING DANISHES
and watching Ash/peer preassuring her to finish half of Shou's sandwhich! D:<

OMFG PROOF SHE ATE SOMETHING!! :O


LOLOL. Then obviously TAT 1:30 came and we all had to say byes to Toshi and Brit OTL
Nick decided to head home by that time as well since I guess they barely slep the night before as well.

Me, Ash and Shou ended up wondering around the mall alittle bit more and then heading to the Griffith Park Observatory
where me and Shou had hatched a plan to shoot a Macross Frontier photoshoot there because its a must! >:D
since it was also featured in the anime! DURHURHURHUR. We must make it happen >:D

Nick texted me inviting me and Ash to go up to Norcal with him for New Years, so HELL TO THE FUCK YES!
I havent been to Norcal in SO LONG and It'd be NICE to get away during New Years since I'm pretty sure I just slept through it last year
and the years before that /:
LOLOL I'm not a big drinker either but it'd be awesome to go and see Toshi and Ash again <3 AND be in San Francisco!!! I've been *wanting* to get up there!!!!
