2-3 MONTH COMPREHENSIVE POST

YES Because I always choose the right time to check in - drop by a notice is when I absolutely have no time in my hands qAq (well thats not quite 100% true because you all know I'm probably going to ignore home work to play League instead) BUT HERE I AM WITH A BIG LONG COMPREHENSIVE POSTS THAT PRETTY MUCH IDK. GOES ALL THE WAY BACK FROM SEPTEMBER AND WHAT THE HECK I'VE BEEN DOING SINCE THEN /caps.Sorrynotsorry. LONG POSTS IS LONG and. Welp. Photo dumping~ so unorganized IDK where to start. I've got a couple of articles for NYC cos mag and a few reviews I got lined up as well that I haven't touched and a new taobao agent that I gotta review too. But other than that....I'm not entirely sure where to start and I have pretty much went recluse lol...that and I won't lie....ignoring Lightroom coz....IDK what to do with them...like. What do bloggers do nowadays anyway? I feel everyone has gone through vlogging and I kinda miss just /reading/ and looking at photo posts but a lot of the people I personally follow has pretty much also went into hiding, minus a few other bloggers from another country who still manages to capture outfit photos and etc.  I can't even remember the last time I've done an OOTD.

Again I'm probably going to be relying on Instagram to help me back track through all these months I've been away, if you follow me on IG you can pretty much just guess whats been going on ahaha....for the most part...thankgoodness for social media lol for helping us back track for the months/days lost ahaha....

 

I wont lie, this has been pretty much my life the last few weeks / months LOL...(oh wow no pun intended)
I was a bit apprehensive on starting League for a number of reasons ): games are addicting, no time to play them and there are certain individuals that just kinda make you not want to play a certain game. But I finally caved in >_> Do I regret my decision? Slightly LOL! but it IS a fun game but I pretty much taken a back seat to it now, but when I first started oh man ): where did my time go...still pretty much a n00b at it but its a fairly easy game to pickup if your familiar with DOTA type games and I think the biggest thing that would also help is having a good team / support system and well, knowing the champions because with so many different  champions you just never know who your going to face against. (Can you tell who my main champ is?! LOL the skins were all gifted to me too) I actually started off ADC with Ashe and Jinx but during world (before I got into the game) I was pretty curious about Ahri and picked her up after earning enough IP :3

 Picked up a few books from BOOK OFF for cheaps! Missed reading but again this just goes back to having enough time and everything /: but it should never be an excuse not to enjoy a good book or two. These were very easy reads, blasted through them in a weekend. So its time to hit Book Off again and peruse the isles and see what gems I stumble upon again. I lost my copy of Missin' by Novala Takemoto  (the guy behind Kamikaze girls) and I got it from Book Off before ): everytime I go I'm always hoping to find another one but I should really just try Amazon...

School is finally ending and tomorrow I have to figure out what the hell I'm doing in regards to school / need to register for classes for the Spring semester and figure all that out...whatamIdoingwithmylife...Its been almost a month or I'm sure its BEEN a month or two already since my last post....Halloween came and went and I didn't do much. Well. Work. Thats what I did. Finished up signing up for my Spring semester classes and will be going back and forth between 2 colleges and then work. Contemplating if its worth taking the 3 classes or if I should just not risk it and stick to 2 classes /: since the work load is unpredictable but with any language course I feel you really need to have the time to invest in it. I have till the first few weeks to decide if I can hang or not ): But back tracking before the end of Halloween / school. In the spirits of getting all dressed up I decided to try and do something different this year or try to get into the mood of things so a few makeup tests was done, and man. Its quite tiring. IDK where you kids get the time and energy to do this LMAO by  all means it IS fun but the time and effort it takes to put your wig on, makeup AND to finally snap photos. Wow. I forgot how much work it is to be a cosplayer ahaha....

PMX came and gone as well, I didn't really do much of a shoot except for Amnesia - which I still need to upload and go through and figure out what to do with. I'm usually pretty quick on turn-around on photos but things have taken a back burner on everything u_u. Got reviews need to write up and its just has not happened yet...but the photos above pretty much sums up my PMX weekend ahaha...loosing dollywink lashes and having to look for them. Seriously guys,  their not easy to find ): so don't loose em! That clear band!! Argh ): Hung out with some cuties :D and cosplayers too~ aaah I haven't looked through all my PMX photos yet so...lol... Saw some friends who came down from Norcal too :D but too bad we didn't really get to hang out all that much but hopefully Fanime! *w*

 Of course you had to have your post con food / hang over not really coz you didn't drink that much to get a hang over anyway I'm most likely skipping out on Anime Los Angeles (despite the need to cosplay is so strong) because I'm trying to plan a trip to Houston *oh you ambitious little sh!t) lol....but we shall see!
And since nothing really happened between PMX and well, what ever happened before and after PMX was nothing exciting other than school and homework and work...then we come across BLACK FRIDAY lol the after turkey day sale which brings madness in the states ): oh well. Last year I avoided the frenzy and went the day after and just got my phone, this year I decided to brave the midnight crowd alone. I was on a mission to get a 3DSXL after years of wanting one. I'm always late to the handheld console party and usually only buy during sales lol...I got my psp 2-3 years ago also during black friday lol....

 It was a well fought battle! LOL I got inline at Target at 7:40pm Thanksgiving day since they were opening their doors early at 8pm that night versus midnight like other stores. I went to the store the day before to scout out the area lol recon mission man! Had to check where the prize was and how much they had instock. They had them in a glass case where all the electronics were, I had my eyes set on the black one since I know theres no way I was going to be able to get the Zelda bundle ):
Doors opened at 8. The line was wrapped around the building and I was definitely in the back, thankfully the lines were moving rather quickly. Years of mosh pits and convention crowd weaving has prepared me for this day. As soon  as I got into the store I weaved through the crowd who was fighting for the TVs and everything else, being 4'10" has their advantages and disadvantages. Lucky for me I was able to maneuver through the crowd easily and got THE LAST DS ON DISPLAY AAAAH which was the red one. Shamelessly grabbed it before a lady and her other daughter did. You snooze you loose lady ): shoulda known what you were looking for before you stepped into those doors! LOL (she was asking an associate where the 3DS were) and I ran to get inline, along the way I found 2 other DS on the side, pink and black one :O! Nabbed them coz I couldn't decide at that point which color to get. Made a few calls to see who wanted me to grab em one while I was there xD too....I ended the night victorious! With my prize I retreated back to base to do more homework....u_ull I didn't pick up games till the following day after work ahaha...

To continue the Black Friday haul I did some major video game hauling. Like woah. I can't remember the last time I hauled games like this ): I think the last time may have been like idk a decade ago lol when I got my xbox and I got 3 games with it. But man the price of games have surely risen from then but the good news is. I got all these games for the price of 1 new game :o holler~ Thank you black friday! First up! Hakuouki Warriors of Shinsengumi. Duuude I didn't even think Aksys was going to license this and I completely forgot about it! Thankfully I was browsing twitter when Aksys announced 30% off their games, curious coz I still didn't have any games for my DS I took a peek and woah LOL yeah I ended up with a PSP game instead.

Gamestop had a buy 2 used get 1 free. Had to take advantage of that and since I was living under a rock I didn't even know Ninja Gaiden 3 came out qAq ahaha...and apparently this time you get 3 new playable characters. wnweoihneohnroehtheydidntyouthatin2!!! Also picked up CODE PRINCESS because, beat-em-up dungeon crawlers are the best and of course OF COURSE cooking mama loooo my brother got me Harvest Moon *w*  I also forgot my friend gave me Persona Arena after PMX but I didn't get a chance to really play it till of course the week most of my projects are due I decide to get back into games..orz what is homework?...

And to continue the Black Friday haul adventure qAqll went to the mall with le friend after work just to see whats going on in terms of deals and sales as I kept getting messages from friends XD all over the place saying this and that is on sale. So I was curious to see what they got going. Grabbed a long tunic sweater hoodie from H&M (no picture) for $10. Not bad not bad. I wanted to hit up Forever21 to get more tights but then again I run through them like crazy coz for some reason I cannot just seem to keep them from ripping QwQ;; should stick to ebay then u__u

Went darker for the fall too, well, actually. I was trying to go with a purple tint to my red. I had slightly right around PMX ahaha...I initially mix 3 parts red and 1 part blue but I kinda did it 3:2 this time around and it turned a little darker than I had expected. Hoping it will fade out if not, bleach cap~ then I'll throw purple back on it again...

So bad on trying to update. Nothing interesting has really happened that worth updating about I guess...I finished a Kaito commission for Oni-con. I don't have photos of it to be honest XD;;; but Claude has it on Facebook and I think I also re-shared it on my Black Heaven FanPage *w* Nothing super special about it since it was just the default cosplay. I'm also busy trying to bust my shit into gear to get Code Geass going. For reals. There has been some set back on acquiring the location ontop of scheduling the right time to get everyone together to make it happen.

With that being said, I might not be able to make it to PMX. If I do, I'd probably be only going for a day. But I want to make sure I get my stuff done for Geass before running off to another convention. Lol. This is AX all over again. LOL. Why?! But once this is all over, I can breathe from sigh of relief and relax for the Holiday season...(no, not really, theres no rest for the wicked hahaha as theres ALA coming up in January! hahaha!! and planning Silent Hill and "Another" shoots too) I'll also probably be hitting up Las Vegas in December for a family reunion as we have family from back home flying in for a baby shower my cousin is throwing in Vegas. I for one am not fond of baby showers, so I'll probably try and occupy myself with shoots or some controlled gambling looooo.

I'd love to see the Phantom of the Opera at the Venitian since I missed it last year, but I dont know if its still running anymore ):

my camera is rotting and gathering dusts because its too heavy to lug around lol and really, I only go to work and home lately ): with Halloween coming up you'd think I'd go out more often. lol. Nope. I'm being lame and stuck at home playing Pharoah :D which is a pretty old game, its basically a city building game like Sim City. This game came out back in mid 90's? to late 90s? I was probably 7 or 8 or something like that when it came out and on '99 they released an expansion of it; Cleopatra; Rule the nile. I still have the original disk! But you can actually buy this as well as Ceasar and Emperor (both which I also own the original cds LOL somewhere) on GoG.com (good old gamer) for $9.99. NOT BAD!

 

I personally like Pharoah/Cleopatra better than Ceasar and Emperor. Emperor has this feng shui mode in the game that when you're building your city and industries you need to make sure theres proper chi flow to make sure your industry thrives D8

whut. lol. I'll probably go back and try it again when I got more time. This game.is. addicting. I blame this game why I have been so behind on cosplay lol. Ceasar on the other hand, deals with building a lot of aqueduct throughout the city to make sure food production is ok AND you also gotta talk with the senate group A LOT D8 while in Pharoah you gotta make sure your gods are appeased and etc. Well, basically each game has their own little perks. Maybe when I conquer Egypt and the Nile I'll move on to Ceasar and Emperor again...

my cardigan collection~ I've had the skull one for a while but only worn it once since getting it :o

I got it late spring/early summer coz I remember wearing it during Anime Expo at night but haven't really worn it much since but now that the weather is cooling down, yesh!  the Cross one was a good find at Forever21. I know they recently started carrying the leggings versions but they did not have my size when I went there but they def had the cross cardigan tho :o and I think I'll get more use out of the top than a bottom piece. So its all good~

Went to The Body Shop to drop off an application and was also intending to picking up the Tea Tree Pore Minimizer but they were sold out :o even on the website.

But the guy there was nice enough to give me a sample :D chyeah! And I'm also running low on my tea tree lotion thingie. I cut the tube open and extracted whats left in there and transferred it to a small container. I like to get the bang for my buck, even down to the very last drop. Lol. 

So if you have any products that comes in a TUBE. CUT THAT SHIT OPEN and you'd be surprised how much product you can get out of there!  

I did this with an old primer I had and just look how much I got out of there!

And I got a new cheapy purse off ebay for $19. Free shipping. Its pretty small. I mean, its a medium sized purse. Made out of faux pleather. With skull and round studs on it. The inside is fully lined but the strap is made out of an even thinner piece of pleather. Afraid to overload the bag and have it die on me since its not exactly made out of the thickest or sturdiest material. I probably would be cautious on shoving my camera on there ):

Some Abbey Dawn leggings! They were originally retailing for $46 (yeah wow! thats expensive for some leggings) but I scored these for $22-24? with shipping included. Thank you ebay! And they are brand new :D I haven't worn it out just yet since I got it :x since I can't really wear it to work and the weekends have been pretty warm! My fail trial at doing an OOTD. I haven't done one of those in...years. Looking back at my older entries I've done them but not recently, hard to get a good full body shot. Plus when you wear black, it all just forms into one blob of blackness LMAO! But on that shot, its a high-low chiffon tanktop with a asymmetrical cardigan. Leggings and heels. QwQ pretty boring. Sorry. I like to buy/collect plain basic pieces now. In comparison to before, I still LOVE me some graphic Ts but I save them for days off. So I own a bunch of basic plain pieces coz you just can't go wrong with that lol.

bat cups! I love halloween merch but I waited too long hoping there would be some over stock left. no.
I went to target and got these bat cups for a $1something. I only got 2. I should have gotten all 6 lol just coz. Coz apparently my mom likes the sturdy acrylic cups like those. I got her a orange pumpkin one. but I need to go and raid halloween stores day after halloween and get me some left over merchs D8
I also need to get a gallon of fake blood and some stuff for Silent hill goreness.

Right now the path I'm going I'm clearly trying to shoot for the Okita route but I somehow manage to keep getting events with Saito as well, which I saved on a seperate game file. If anyone is interested on me writing up a guide on how to get to the Okita route just let me know.
His route is one of the longest tbh, Okita, Saito and of course Demon captain Hijikata has the longest ones from what I heard O___O;; and as you can tell, I'm barely halfway through the game ;A;!!!

Happy single awareness day LOL. Another annoying stressful day at work. Got up early in an attempt to go to gamestop to pick up my copy of Hakuouki. Only to get there to find out they havent received their shipment yet. FAIL =_=;; Someone got alittle too excited. Jeez. I didnt even get chocolate today /: waiting for the massive sales tomorrow LOL! Going to try and score me some Dove Swirls or ghirardelli vanilla bean chocos!!! nom nom. I'm not a big chocolate fan tbh but I wouldn't mind expensive choco for cheaps LOL.

Apparently according to Sephora this month is my birthday.... o___oll oh well! I'm still going to go redeem my freebie!

from the looks of it, might be a free lip stick /: hopefully theres more colors than just RED =__=l I'm not a red lip stick person. I prefer nuddish rosey pinks to get the 'my lips but better' effect LAWL. Seriously not a lip stick person. Aksys didnt change a thing on the game and simply translated/published it for us non-Japanese speaking fans. Before if you really wanted to play the game (like my dumbass a few months ago - maybe even a year ago) you went as far as downloading a copy onto your DS and finding all the right patches to make it work and just derp around and hope to God you know wtf you're doing. OR. Modded your PSP. Which again, resulted in the first part - derping around and hoping you got who you were aiming for. Trial and error. You sir/mam must have had the patience of the Gods LOL

(and like me, did not turn the damn game off at all for fear of loosing it coz you didnt know how to fucking save LOL)

BUT YAY FOR THIS HAHA.

Now for those of who you dont know what Hakuouki is well...let me enlighten you.

Its an otome game (dating sim game catered for girls, or a VISUAL novel game that just gives you little options of what you want to do / say. but its pretty linear)

and its based on the old Japanese setting where you play a girl whos dad has gone missing and decided to run off to the big bad city of Kyoto to find daddy. Of course being the naive little girl you are you stumble upon trouble the first time you're there and you somehow managed to get yourself in trouble and witness a fight between the Shinsengumi and the Rasetsu who, more or less are like zombies LOL or demons. Whut? Yeah, sorry I'm not very good at this.

Then the shinsengumi decides to bring you home! LOL. Of course you're in a compound full of hot blooded young men, so, what are you gonna do? Romance of course! LOL. Durr. Whut?

Its been adapted into a 2 part series Animuuuu that you can probably stream somewhere online if you want to see the anime counterpart.

but according to Aksys games this is really more of a "quasi-historical supernatural drama 1st, romance game 2nd." (via @aksysgames twitter feed)
