So bad on trying to update. Nothing interesting has really happened that worth updating about I guess...I finished a Kaito commission for Oni-con. I don't have photos of it to be honest XD;;; but Claude has it on Facebook and I think I also re-shared it on my Black Heaven FanPage *w* Nothing super special about it since it was just the default cosplay. I'm also busy trying to bust my shit into gear to get Code Geass going. For reals. There has been some set back on acquiring the location ontop of scheduling the right time to get everyone together to make it happen.

With that being said, I might not be able to make it to PMX. If I do, I'd probably be only going for a day. But I want to make sure I get my stuff done for Geass before running off to another convention. Lol. This is AX all over again. LOL. Why?! But once this is all over, I can breathe from sigh of relief and relax for the Holiday season...(no, not really, theres no rest for the wicked hahaha as theres ALA coming up in January! hahaha!! and planning Silent Hill and "Another" shoots too) I'll also probably be hitting up Las Vegas in December for a family reunion as we have family from back home flying in for a baby shower my cousin is throwing in Vegas. I for one am not fond of baby showers, so I'll probably try and occupy myself with shoots or some controlled gambling looooo.

my camera is rotting and gathering dusts because its too heavy to lug around lol and really, I only go to work and home lately ): with Halloween coming up you'd think I'd go out more often. lol. Nope. I'm being lame and stuck at home playing Pharoah :D which is a pretty old game, its basically a city building game like Sim City. This game came out back in mid 90's? to late 90s? I was probably 7 or 8 or something like that when it came out and on '99 they released an expansion of it; Cleopatra; Rule the nile. I still have the original disk! But you can actually buy this as well as Ceasar and Emperor (both which I also own the original cds LOL somewhere) on GoG.com (good old gamer) for $9.99. NOT BAD!

 

I personally like Pharoah/Cleopatra better than Ceasar and Emperor. Emperor has this feng shui mode in the game that when you're building your city and industries you need to make sure theres proper chi flow to make sure your industry thrives D8

whut. lol. I'll probably go back and try it again when I got more time. This game.is. addicting. I blame this game why I have been so behind on cosplay lol. Ceasar on the other hand, deals with building a lot of aqueduct throughout the city to make sure food production is ok AND you also gotta talk with the senate group A LOT D8 while in Pharoah you gotta make sure your gods are appeased and etc. Well, basically each game has their own little perks. Maybe when I conquer Egypt and the Nile I'll move on to Ceasar and Emperor again...

my cardigan collection~ I've had the skull one for a while but only worn it once since getting it :o

I got it late spring/early summer coz I remember wearing it during Anime Expo at night but haven't really worn it much since but now that the weather is cooling down, yesh!  the Cross one was a good find at Forever21. I know they recently started carrying the leggings versions but they did not have my size when I went there but they def had the cross cardigan tho :o and I think I'll get more use out of the top than a bottom piece. So its all good~

Went to The Body Shop to drop off an application and was also intending to picking up the Tea Tree Pore Minimizer but they were sold out :o even on the website.

But the guy there was nice enough to give me a sample :D chyeah! And I'm also running low on my tea tree lotion thingie. I cut the tube open and extracted whats left in there and transferred it to a small container. I like to get the bang for my buck, even down to the very last drop. Lol. 

So if you have any products that comes in a TUBE. CUT THAT SHIT OPEN and you'd be surprised how much product you can get out of there!  

I did this with an old primer I had and just look how much I got out of there!

And I got a new cheapy purse off ebay for $19. Free shipping. Its pretty small. I mean, its a medium sized purse. Made out of faux pleather. With skull and round studs on it. The inside is fully lined but the strap is made out of an even thinner piece of pleather. Afraid to overload the bag and have it die on me since its not exactly made out of the thickest or sturdiest material. I probably would be cautious on shoving my camera on there ):

My fail trial at doing an OOTD. I haven't done one of those in...years. Looking back at my older entries I've done them but not recently, hard to get a good full body shot. Plus when you wear black, it all just forms into one blob of blackness LMAO! But on that shot, its a high-low chiffon tanktop with a asymmetrical cardigan. Leggings and heels. QwQ pretty boring. Sorry. I like to buy/collect plain basic pieces now. In comparison to before, I still LOVE me some graphic Ts but I save them for days off. So I own a bunch of basic plain pieces coz you just can't go wrong with that lol.

bat cups! I love halloween merch but I waited too long hoping there would be some over stock left. no.
I went to target and got these bat cups for a $1something. I only got 2. I should have gotten all 6 lol just coz. Coz apparently my mom likes the sturdy acrylic cups like those. 211. Nisei Week 2012!!!!

                                             

Ommmmgggg its sooooo hooottt I should not even be allowed near my laptop, despite the cooling fan pad I have on it, its still hot QwQ *sobs* I know some people probably have it worse, but San Diego normally does not go pass 80! These last few days are like 90s!! omfgggggg sobs...

and then I decided it was a good idea to go to Nisei Week up LA this past weekend lawwwl where the weather is always a lot worse hahaha omg. /dies/

Originally we wanted to go up on Sunday when the cosplay parade is going on and more and more activies would be going on...but Hannsel can only go on Saturday due to work, and my sister is flying home from college on sunday anyway so it looked like Saturday was the only day we could make it happen lol...Lo and behold the moment we got there we were dyinggggggg so a trip to Curry House was needed (mostly coz I wanted those cream soda drinkies they have and couldnt think of any other place in LT that sold something similar or a parfait for that matter QwQ!!!!) and we were hungry....

Line there was extremely long. D8 whyyyyy lmao, its so hot - people don't eat curry!!!! Go eat Zaru Soba or something LMAO!!

We had some refreshhhhmeeentsssss Lime, Cherry Cream Sodas and Green Tea and Fruit Punch! Tried the Tofu Curry Katsu too :o it was very light and interesting....wish they gave more curry lmao. Since the rice makes it taste more bland...hahaha...

I mostly went there coz I heard they were having some special on some funky tights *u* and also carried /some/ Kreepeville666 accessories, was hoping to score some horn clips coz my last pair broke and got lost lawl. I honestly dont know who this guy is, but he looks like he belongs in Kamen Rider, but from what I hear hes not really a kamen rider lol...I only really remember the older series of Kamen Rider. And apparently they also had some sort of live performance on the stage WHICH I MISSED DDD8!!

He was such a good sport and fierce on his poses LAWL! Wish I got a full body shot orz I caught them as they were walking to their destination....boo but gdammnn warrior mode for having worn that in like 100+ degree weather....

Then off we went!! sneaking into a secret garden~ into the Kyoto Grand Hotel LMAO!! They were using the place for a wedding and a pageant as well I believe as there were some chairs and etc. set up on the upper side of the garden so we kept ourselves to the bottom half and quickly worked our way in snapping away photos!!

I plan on posting the set on a different post~ We got caught after a few minutes and they simply asked us to go...loool. damn XDD....Walked around some moreee and got some SHAVED ICE OMFGG

We got bubble gum and watermelon, I kinda wish I gotten the Melon one - probably would have been more cooling hahaha~

Jungle Anime bought out one of the other shops there and used it for a Purikura place~ they have at least 4-5 Machines there! :o but their all pretty pricey =A=ll at atleast $6-10 a machine...Purikura isnt cheap lol...And they also have some of the claw machines there too. This one has "beer-kun" (no, thats not really his name...I just named it that LMAO)

Too bad we couldn't find Sake-Dono, Vodka-san or Soju-Oppa there too LMAO...

I suck at crane games so I didn't even bother even if I wanted him LMAO....

Dinnnneerrr timeee :o (as if we didn't already do ENOUGH eating for one day LMAO) Silver Pae (who will be my lovely Nonette for the Code Geass shoot) treated us to Orochan Ramen :o (it was featured in Man VS Food with the super spicey ramen) but me and Hannsel chickened out of eating ramen considering it was already pretty hot out and settled with cold noodles. (I was hoping they were Zaru Soba tbh but its still good! :D)

Man....their ramen portions are HUGE D: they are not joking with how generous their portions are!!!

Just staring at it is quite intimidating .___. if I were to ever try their ramen, Probably going to end up sharing just coz how huge the bowl is LMAO.

200. Matcha Latte!

For my 200th post on this blog I'll be sharing a Matcha Latte recipe~

now there is  A LOT of variations on making Matcha Latte. And this recipe is something 

I discovered last night and is probably the closest thing you're going to get

to the Starbucks kind...

What you will need:

Matcha Powder! (You can get these from your local Asian markets or online)

Ice Cubes

Agave Sweetener (can get at Target in the sugar isle or Trader Joes) 

or you can use splenda or sugar /:

Vanilla Ice Cream or French Vanilla Creamer
Milk 

Whipped Cream (optional)

Tapioca Balls (optional)

BLENDER! DUH! LOL

Throw all your ingredients together in a blender - I do mine in no specific order
or measurements since I just adjust things to taste.
I personally like a stronger matcha taste to mine so I use about a good teaspoon full

You can use Agave Sweetener, Vanilla Creamer or ICE CREAM as your form of sweetener
or, if you dare, just throw all 3 in. I did it last night and it wasn't too sweet and the ice cream
definitely made it taste / feel smoother and creamier...
but that method is very close to how Starbucks makes their Fraps. Instead of ice cream I was told
 they use WHIP CREAM into their mixes.

but normally, I just throw in a tiny spash of vanilla creamer to get a vanilla ish taste to it
and a bit of agave for a sweetener.

Blend blend blend till its all smooth and transfer it to a glass with tapioca balls at the bottom
and finish it off with Whip Cream! (again, all is optional. I usually skip all that lol)

Want a hot version of this drink?

Heat up a cup of milk over the stove in medium heat
Add matcha powder
whisk till powder is dissolved
Add Agave Sweetener or Honey
Optional: French Vanilla Creamer

Then enjoy!

But if you REALLY wanna be bad...

In a stove over medium heat, throw in some WHITE CHOCOLATE with cream
mix till the chocolate is completely dissolved and mixed in.
In another bowl, a small cup of milk and matcha mix together till it is dissolved.
If you want a vanilla infused flavor with it, throw in a stick of vanilla pod or mix with a bit of vanilla creamer
Again whisk till everything is mixed  together.
Combined both ingredients.
Garnish with whip cream and matcha powder ontop :D
 for this, you can skip the sweetener  if its too sweet (considering your already using cream AND chocolate)

These are some pretty extravegant expensive chocolates LOl....this is what I spent my food budget on. OTL. $5 for a bar. And their the size of half of a chocolate bar. And you can only get them at Nijiya or online =A=ll

Their OK to be honest. Its got a smooth nice texture and smooth finish to it but nothing TOO amazing. It just...taste...really expensive lmao.

Another semi-productive weekend (yes I'm sorry I slept in again and didnt get to start my morning till late afternoon again roflmao!!!)

This week, I was hoping to make Lavender and Rose cupcakes but unfortunately the store I normally frequent to get my baking goods apparently dont carry them anymore )8 so I opted to get Marshmallow and Eggnog...why not?...lolz...

Here are some marshmallow cupcakes....you can tell me and my little brother went alittle over board with the food coloring. Hahahaha!!!!

Cupcakes are suppose to be fun and clearly need some color in them!!

I ordered these babies on Wednesday night and I received my lenses Saturday morning! (today)
WOOOOW talk about fast shipping and they DO carry prescription lenses
and plenty of plano and special order lenses.
I was eager to find a US based seller and I def. found it in them!
Since I hate waiting for my lenses to come in ROFLMAO....
well, if its for cosplay its ok.
but I got these for my 'regular every day'
lenses since my lenses that I own are TOO big or TOO bold in color?..
hahaha I have Blue Nudy lenses but I dont feel comfortable
wearing them to work....Q_Q
So hopefully these will do the trick since I dont like wearing my glasses for long
since my fails gets oily (sorry, so nasty) and it makes my glasses slip and slide

heres what they look like in bathroom lighting.
I havent taken them outside. I normally have pretty dark brown eyes.
their not as bright as I thought they would be.
which in a way is kind of a relief?...coz then I can get away with wearing them to work
the only other brown lenses I tried were the angel browns
which were also as equally comfortable and the black rim is more prominent
versus the nudy series. And I like that the Nudy series is more a dewy tear look to it?...
sometimes I kinda wish the brown is more pronounced but its ok. These are more subtle
haha and the enlargement is Ok. I'm used to wearing bigger lenses now haha.

but I kinda want to try the EOS Adult Browns next O_O
the design seems pretty plain and boring in my opinion but I've seen alot of
people wear them. So I might as well give it a shot too and see how much the difference is between the
nudy and the EOS adult browns.

Now onto other things! :O this weekend is suppose to be a productive one and so far so good! I made cupcakes today lmao and I'm looking if I want to order lavender and Rose extracts roflmao~
I also got some glitter puff paint to get working on Esther lawlz...I really need to order my rhinestones and wig lawl and stop ordering misc. items. I ordered some several accessories the other day too out of impulse. I just gotta give it 2 weeks for it to come to me~ hahaha

I worked on my new Gundam too~ the Wing Custom Zero

the gundam came with a mini figure of Hero but like I said I wont be arsed to paint it coz..just no )8 not a big fan of him....

and I really need to get a grey gundam marker and top coat again.

and last night I tried making a ghetto light box hahahaha! Out of a box and white construction paper and a bright lamp. few things I learned from this experience…

lOL. 2 lamps are better than one, To help eliminate shadows but of course photoshop can fix that /:

Secondly….I tried the fabric trick too, It didnt work out too well! hahaha It works better when the fabric is hanging off something and clearly when its ironed/steamed out…

I’m going to try using presentation boards with the white poster papers I got, might turn out better and saves me room since I can break it down and put it away when I’m done with it.

they come in a box of a dozen. 6 chocolates and 6 vanilla. I didn't try the chocolate coz I'm not a fan of chocolate anything so I gave it to my little brother. lol.
their ok for something that comes frozen! the serving sizes is pretty ok, I've had bigger ones LMAO. their probably the size of a Mochi /:

just let them sit out for a few mins to thaw out before biting into it. The cookie part has a good crust to it and has a nice soft chewy center, but biting into the filling I can taste a layer of sugar. Which I wish it didn't have )8
but meh, cant complain. its $4 for a box of 12. Versus going to a bakery which retails for almost $14+ for a box of dozen. But yes I wont give up on attempting to make my own! I just need to find a pocket heater since I'm afraid now that its cooler, there would be too much moisture in the air that it wouldnt make my macarons correct Q_Q...
I wouldn't want to have to waste batch after batch when almond flour is not cheap! but I did find Almond MILL at Trader Joe for about $4-5...I'm sure theres a tutorial out there some where on how to make ur own almond flour using the almond mill....
