Forever and ever and ever backlogged, I clearly cannot make blogging a future career option lol...like...wow.ahaha...was it ever an option?! I keep saying this with each entry but school is back and I'm officially enrolled back into Fashion School....projects galore QwQ but this time I switched from design to merchandising....
So here we go with another long comprehensive post from IDK last month and some this month?! Did I even do one in December? o___O A lot of bloggers are probably talking about 'yay new year new changes' etc etc...well...I fell off the bandwagon on that one even on my tumblr so this is what you get (I doubt anyone reads this anyway looo)
I guess lets start with Anime Los Angeles since it was the beginning of the New Year and like always I didn't go out during New Years. I probably was playing Harvest Moon or something oh wait, now that I remember I spent it sick on the couch PLAYING Harvest Moon LOOOO whut...I bought champagne but it tasted like shit so no.
I had originally brought my Shakugan no Shana cos but guess who left their wig?! and didnt even think to pack my red weaves with me to even get away with my real hair...welp. So no Shana but here, have some League spam lol (or not really a league spam) I mean, drunken ratchet unglorified selfies with my friends QwQ;; met some new lovely people at ALA and ended up at Dennys at 5am. Woah. LOL. I can't wait to see them again at Fanimu~
I didn't really shoot much other than League cosers at ALA and I'm still backlogged. Watch me post those Xmas-y stuff like...summer....or something lol....when its too hot....
remind me not to let people take my glasses LOL or take off my wig before we do drunken selcas coz wow so not fab ahaha. NEXT TIME! ONLY RUI LOOKED FABULOUS LOL WTH AHAHA...
wow much organize. This is only for like the first 10 mins of when you unpack your stuff
coz we all know when its time to get ready, this table is always a hot mess uwu....
they have such poor lighting at cons/hotels
I'm considering getting one of those vanity mirrors with lights to go lol...
Lets take a brief moment to interrupt this massive spam with a quick run down on some foundation reviews that I decided to try out this last month/last few months....
Lets start with the DERMABLEND. I really wanted to like this foundation, I really did ): but in the end it just wasn't cutting it for me.
This foundation claims to be more pigmented than most other foundations, the biggest selling point and genius marketing by L'oreal on this brand was to use Zombie boy and have him caked in makeup to completely cover his tattoos up!
Coverage wise, it was great. But it didn't last AT ALL. I found my face (I have oily-combination skin) after applying it (with and without primer) it started to slip and slide after 3-4 hrs of wear....not even by the 4th hour even....and this is after setting it with various type of powder products. The colors are limited too so it was a return ):
next up is the Physicians Formula dark spot corrector foundation.

It comes in a *really* cute packaging, if you haven't browsed your drug store isle lately you'll notice the Liz Lisa inspired packaging for their naked palettes or I think they call them BARE. W/E lol
I was convinced to try this coz it promises to diminish dark spots over time, basically an over glorified BB cream. Comes with a snazzy DROPPER applicator AND A FREE BRUSH. LIKE HELLO?! I loved the idea but the coverage was just too SHEER and again, it didn't last long on my combo skin.
The only thing about this that I also didn't like is that you have to SHAKE it up before dispensing the product since it comes out almost watery and theres a clear separation between the oil/water and the foundation pigment /: uh no. And can get quite messy. Also you can't exactly shake up the product thats already stuck mid shaft of the on the dropper applicator....
Had to do a return on it since for the price of the foundation (ave $15~ at CVS) I could have just added a few more $$$ and gotten Clinique!
While at the check out line I decided to pick up the new benefit beauty balm, tbh I wasn't sure what it was but on the box it claims to help matte up the skin and reduce pores and shine. Can be worn before makeup, after or as is!
I actually use it as a primer before foundation and it might be the reason why my foundation is staying matte longer?! For $10 not bad. I may go back and get another one :D
Quieing up a few lens reviews from my last lens haul from when Pinky Paradise had their 50% off sale. I still have 2 that has been sitting on 'draft' mode for a while now...I really gotta just wrap those up and throw them on here /: oops.
These are the G&G BIG PINK! I guess I might as well do a mini review on here since I'm already posting these selcas up. All taken with natural light. I'm not entirely sure if I'm inlove with the design, I got them coz they were 50% off and I wanted pink lenses! LOL and I was particular to them due to the limbal ring too and I so far have been a fan of the dueba/G&G brand in terms of comfort....
FOR VALENTINES DAY I GOT MYSELF SKINS. OOPS. HOW. COULD. I. NOT.
VAYNE WAS 50% OFF Q.Q AND IT MIGHT FORCE ME TO PRACTICE VAYNE MORE HEE
AND WELL. /EVERYONE/ AND THEIR MOM PLAYS ASHE. SO WHY. NOT.
The thing I can't stand with Ashe is, shes easy to pick up but hard to master uwu..why do I keep playing ADCs oh well....I still wanna get Riven and AP Sona. I've played them a few times but only when they were free lol. Oops.
also, I found this at the Fashion district, its FUCKING KENSHIN FABRIC WHUT. But in the end I regret buying it...I have 2 yards of this in brown and in green. I put it up on eBay if you're interested in taking these off my hands, please message me right away and I'll give it up for a discounted price coz I just....idk..LOL. They are a stretch fabric....
I actually tried 2 different Dermablend shades and I think the sand beige was the closest to my match?? I don't recall the other shade I tried.
NYX Jumbo Pencils are definitely worth the hype they get from the beauty community! I love using them as a base for eyeshadow (I used the silver one for my eyeshadow base on my previous post with the silver wig) and also to cover up my eyebrows lol. So. Cosplayers! TAKE NOTE LOL!! But I topped the cream shadow with powder to set the brows in place and just help pronounce the color some more since I didn't exactly trim down my brow hair....or shave them off and I haven't kept up with bleaching them....
The other items I was excited was the PIXEL eyeshadows. Claims to not crease (well doesn't /every/ eyeshadow product out there claim to do that?) it lasts longer than Revlon drug store eyeshadows so far. I got them coz of the snazzy packaging. Compact and mostly because they had the colors that I was eyeing off the Naked 3 palette! Can't justify $50 on a new palette when I barely used my naked 1...if anything I should have gotten Lorac Pro tbh /: I might go back and get that later on...hueeee....
SOME BELATED HAUL FROM THE LAST END OF DECEMBER/EARLY JANUARY HOLLLLLERRRR AND PACKAGES THAT CAME IN AFTER THE HOLIDAYS WHUT
Ending this post with Botega Louise at Los Angeles.
Looks so yummy but I haven't tried any of them LOL!
And that bangs game...have I finally achieved Park Bom status?! LOL
EDIT:
OOPS I FORGOT TO MENTION!! HOUSTON BOUND! LESS THAN A MONTH BEFORE OUR FLIGHT TO HOUSTON TO ANIMATSURI!!! AAAAAH
FIRST OUT OF CA CON. WOAH
GONNA BE PART OF THE COOL KIDS NOW?!
ridiculously stoked yet nervous coz....LOL....finances coz apparently I'm moving in April not May?! and I still gotta get my stuff together for my sisters graduation in May + Fanime woah woah woah ok, we can do this! :D I'm mostly worried coz I'll be flying out of LAX not SD...and I fly back alone on Sunday straight to SD and Toshi is flying alone back to Sac....owo;; atleast I don't have a lay over but Toshi does....
I hate packing and I'm even more gonna hate having to try and condense con packing into 1 check-in bag and trying to avoid to do a carry on+my purse but this might end up happening....
