Blog is really due in for a facelift but wow much lazy...I'm not even consistent enough with entries to really give it much though but it'd be nice to atleast change things up...ugh...maybe eventually I'll get to it uwu;; I still got a few review lenses to do but ahaha...yeah... about those ):

 

again those are on the bucket list of things to do / address and whatnot...you'd think with school being over for the semester that I'd have more time?...yeah right, time just seems to be so valuable but it always seems to fly out so quickly. Not to mention I've been in need of some major potato-mode to recover for how insane schedule has been the last few weeks with Fanime, Finals and well this yolo trip to Universal (a few weekends ago but wow still not recovered ahaha)

Instadump May - July

Instadump....=3=;; before I get super super super backlogged some more and this would be a good check point for me to remind myself what entries I'm still missing...welp...

I dont know if its fair to blame lazyness or simply just not having enough time to do /anything/ I feel I hear this/read this quite often from a lot of bloggers (those who aren't in the whole youtube vlogging deal and just doing this somewhat casually...I still have reviews to do too oops)

But I digress and admit that I've neglected this and a whole bunch of other photos sitting on my lightroom account waiting to be edited (I still wanna try and work on the Tidus photos too but ahaha....whut are those...and the beach shoots......and well con shoots too....goodgawdcanIjustnotugh)

So lets do a quick catchup and check point and hopefully in the next few months I'll be able to be caught up...I also still gotta work on a new layout or atleast a new banner ==;;; kinda getting sick of all the pink lol...jfc. I wish I invested more time in graphics lol...

First of all, I will not be attending J-expo, Yaoi-Con or AWA as I had originally wanted. Bro's getting married in October and September is a clusterfuck of preparation and I still have not looked into wtf i'm wearing and I'm supposedly the bestman.dontask.   I'm really sad and disappointed I cannot go and see friends uwu and with school starting mid August I'll just be thrown into a cluster of not having any time at all. I'll be schooling on Thursday afternoon to evening and then I'll be working on Saturdays and Sundays would be my only days off moving forward till the end of the semester which is in December. Most likely skipping PMX too since I just cannot deal with the lobby con venue...

I guess this is gonna be another comprehensive post going all the way back to May / fanime!?! wow have I really been /that/ far behind omfg QwQ I will try to post entries for each month or atleast for the cons i've attended......wow.....orz;;; this is getting quite ridiculous lmao....

its kinda crazy to think we're already in August OvO;;; more than halfway through the year. wow another year another year! thats kinda crazy! Lets keep going!

MAY:

BIRTHDAY MONTH. GRADUATIONS. FANIME! OH MY. I think I did a May post lol but I don'tthink I went I don't think I actually went through and did a real fanime post yet, I'm stil debating on when or how I'll do that, probabl another giant photo dump. I didn't take much BTS photos as I expected or really did much since I didn't have a badge for that weekend anyway. It was still fun nonetheless. I flew up to San Francisco a few days prior to the con for my sisters graduation from UC Berkeley. Whoo. No photos LOL whut. I'll probably throw them on the fanime post lolol...I flew with Virgin America this time and wow didn't realize they had TVs on each seat woah woah woah lol and a really funny music video style informative intro.....lol...yeah...if you ever flew with them you'd know what I mean. But wow I've been spoiled by Southwets free bag check-ins! Oh well. I ended up flying Southwest back anyway so it was all daijobs.

these photos pretty much sums up my San Fran - San Jose weekend.  Maybe I'll be able to do a more comprehensive post on it later... /: ugh fanime post when will that happen...I'm soooo backlogged aha...didn't get much chance to explore SF as I had wanted. We did the graduation then dinner and boba then it was qucikly back to cosplay grind finishing up Popstar Ezreal for sisters bf )': we both were pretty much crunching it till the very last minute >w< but for the few free hours I had, cupcake took me around the city :o and when I mean city I mean Jtown /: and little shit got drunk off half a beer. Weakshit.

Jtown has a severe lackage of asian cosmetics and lashes. I was really surprised /:

I didn't get a chance to take much photos of the cosplayers that were at fanime coz I stayed in the hotel too long, took my time getting ready or was doing other peoples makeup that by the time it was time for me to do mine i was just...tired LOL.
the earliest I've made it out to the con was 2....ahaha...wow... orz

I mostly shot League of Legends and Dynasty Warriors for my sister OvO and her friends.

MET UP WITH TOSHI AS ALWAYS HOLLER. I potatoed most of the time at the con /: it was hotter than I had expected in SJ and I just couldnt...lol I was burnt out from school and etc that it was just a pretty chill con to me and having to meet friends again *v*
Went to some bar to watch some indie jrock cover bands play. It wasnt even a far walk from the hotel. More shots. Imprompt shoots and then flew back early Sunday morning (partly hungover lol as always but I alteast didnt end up in the tub this time)

Ended up editing some photos while waiting for my flight back to SD

it was a super quick flight, painless and easy. No crying babies! I flew early just to avoid all that!

Going through security wasnt too bad QwQ thankfully! It was memorial weekend so I was worried the lines were gonna be bad. I get anxiety flying LMAO or traveling only coz I'm too scared to miss flights shiet.  And I heard horror stories of flight delays with SFO ):

After all that traveling I can pretty much say I want a new suitcase, one that rolls on all 4 wheels not 2 ahaha shit is annoying omg.

JUNE / JULY:

Back in SD I had to stock up on my favorite lashes intime for AX :o
one does not go to AX without an arsenal of lashes (not to mention $10 a pack for playgirl when their normally $15 ughhhh plzzzz and lets face it, everytime I go to a con and drink theres always lashes casualties ahaha. //rips them off and puts them on table and hope I find them again the next day...///

actually all those werent mine ahaha I wiiissshhhh I grabbed 2 packs for a friend as well. But best believe I'd be back for more lol....

the train didnt stop as soon as I got back from Fanime coz AX was just going to be arond the corner and I was determined to finish Dream of Doll WHICH I DID MAKE HAPPEN but welp ahaha she suckered me into doing Delphine too.....==;;;;;

Between Dream of Doll I was also working on K Project props! Well, I tried to but man thats sword was annoying till I found a relatively close looking one from the party store and painted it. Added that little craft foam portion on the handle. CLOSE ENOUGH.
I tried making the knives too but it turned out really that that I was just like. Nope. Not giving it to you. LemmeremakeitbeforeIgiveityoulol so no daggers for Fushimi at AX /:

I didn't book any private shoots for AX but imprompt photoshoots happened nonetheless.
Toshi surprised me at AX too since we were all convinced no show!!! whutttt

and yes I'm an otome game producer and boy band manager now lol

 

 COCO CURRY I THINK IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES TO GO TO FOR CURRY EVEN IF IM TOO CHICKEN SHIT FOR THE SPICEY NESS. LOLOL IT WAS STILL SO GOOD. THAT OR I WAS  REALLY HUNG OVER AND TIRED AND HUNGRY ALSO CAN YOU NOT APPRECIATE THE FACT THAT YOUR GRUB IS SWIMMIN IN A LAVA FIELD OF CURRY LOL AND YOU GOT WARM RICE OMELETTE HOLLLLLLLLLLERRR. YOU GOT YOUR PROTEIN, YOUR SODIUM. YOUR CARBS AHAHA. Ok I get really excited over curry LMAO

June basically went by a blur honestly, it was all really just a count down TO AX and when AX ended it was pretty much like 'ok wtf, what do now!?!'

Didn't get to see K movie during AX due to some BS but they did a nationwide showing! Woohoo thankfully SD had a showing too but clearly it wasnt as epic as the one in LA uwu we didn't even get a merch booth or any posters to give away /: and wow it was $15 a ticket. hurt much aha....but gotta support the homo kings....from there went to PRIDE. What a hot mess. No one was fabulous at all LOL. I could go on a whole rant but nope nope nope.

 

Overpriced alcoholic beverages (Jaegger shots were like $10 each!?! I asked for Vegas shots and the bartender gave me Jaegger....without the redbull...and when I asked for rebull this is what we got LOL . NOPE. After this we walked some more around the strip and ended up leaving and going back to the land we know; Clairemont the land of Asians and bar hopped lol........

I was suppose to go hiking the following day to find a waterfall for a future shoot but that didnt happen.....==;;;;

 Tea station is a guilty pleasure but so gdamn expensive I had to stop going there and just brew my own tea at home;  currently my favorite brews are Jasmine Apple Green Tea with Lychee. Or just Lychee Green tea (sometimes I add slices of strawberry in there) Very refreshing for le summer!

 I thought about trying to finish Chunli or attempt to see if I wanna brave the con cosplay life again and did a trial run onChunli but it looks like Anime CA isn't happening for me and I cut my hair again (more like the top layers) so lol no Chun Li but iwas fun costesting her nonetheless. A goal!!! I'll cos this someday...gotta train those thundaga thighs though

speaking of cos test I filmed a tutorial that I scrapped and redid it to do a photo step-by-step tutorial for Reira Serizawa! Lots of pinks, champanges and etc but I haven't gotten around to editing them yet either....hopefully...I will get to it too uwu;;; I really gotta hand it to those people who makes tutorials. Its really time consuming and annoying to get the filming technique down; lighting and etc. And when you get that down, you gotta worry about BG music!?!

July proved to be a pretty crazy month in between Anime Expo and Comic Con....

I wasn't expecting to go to Comic Con at all even though its basically my backyard. I have a more comprehensive comic con posts coming up (expect it months later AHAHA seriously though)

I took the kids down there on Saturday and when I mean took them down, throw them to the curb and drive off only to come back a few hours later to grab them LOLOL!!! And I spent the rest of the day/evening to early morning sunday and I mean the sun was coming up early morning.....lol playing league. Check out my ghetto set up with the e-ternet cable running through the door. Thankfully no one tripped while I did that.... /: wireless internet is not reliable when your playing a stream game lol fffffff sister woke me up sunday saying she got me a pass to go so......instead of sleeping I crawled my zombie ass to the con QwQ;;

I STILL DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY BAYONETTA 2 IS COMING TO THE WIIU. WHY WHY WHY COME BACK TO XBOX BB YOU KNOW YOU BELONG THERE UGH.

I'll honestly probably end up playing it at someones console coz I'm not buying a Wii-U. 

I remember we bought a Wii years ago just for brawl and after that was over, I was over it.

 I didn't even finish the new Zelda game on it......shameonme...aintnobodygottimeforgames....

Fashion District trip, doctor appointment in Glendale and then back down to San Diego for a late afternoon/early evening Howl Photoshoot in the span of one weekend!

@w@! head is spinning ahaha so exhausted, getting too old for this yolo shit lol....

school starts pretty soon for me too so I am defintely on lock down from now till the end of the semester in December. No cons for a  while so I decided now would be the time to take on commissions! So I grabbed a few stuff at the FD to get started on a Project K uniform commission and a *another* Howl's moving castle commission. Photos to come soon~ I got a few more commissions to tackle as well and my goal is to finish them all before the end of the year wow...@w@;; with that being said, no cons for me for the rest of the year but lets hope Katsucon might happen??? If not.......oh boy.....matsuri....I'll....be.....back....fuckyouwithathousandsuns....onlygoingcozIwannaseemybabes

Rewind: Anime Matsuri 2014

IS THIS FINALLY IT?! REALLY? AFTER MONTHS OF BACKLOGGED FINALLY THE MATSURI POST AND ITS NOT EVEN COMPLETE. AHAHAHA WOW.

Its only been how many months since Matsuri and you're finally getting an update from me. Whut. AhAHA. And look, no HQ photos tho  AHAHA wow (their on my other PC and I'll probably make a seperate posts anyway with more of the other photos)

I am an awkward potato who will probably take ages to write this and I still have photos left on my other PC....why....so I'm sorry I'm relying on IG to let me remember this lolol....not that I really took a lot of photos while I was there tbh /: I was running around press and the convention was just...POORLY ORGANIZED. I can go on a whole tangent rant about it but I'm sure everyone and their mom has heard about it. I'll just break it down real quickly:

• No communication with the staff - lines were unorganized
• Events ran HOURS late
• Staff was uninformed/unprepared
• Press was mistreated

Pros though: Food trucks, good people, good company, good drinks and hanging out with the band. Yes.

our flight was really early in the morning like 6AM early from LAX and I was coming up from SD and Toshi came all the way down from Stockton. It was brutal. Not really. We hanged out at Dennys for a good few hours before heading over to LAX and it was a pleasant 5 hr flight?? IDK we both slept the entire ride over coz wow 6am flights. What is that. But it was thoroughly exciting to be leaving CA. I think we both were pretty much spazzing out to be out of CA for once and for a con too!

The weekend prior to AM I was scheduled to move to a new apartment and look how barren it was lol! It was definitely hectic trying to finish sewing, moving, packing and then packing for AM ahahaha what. So when I came back from AM (I was sick prior to leaving and was even sicker coming back ahaha yolo mode) that I didn't bother even getting the room together till a month or two into living there. Wow. Yeah.  And I am still horrendously back logged from AM that I still got quite a bit of photos to go through and several other shoots/events after that. So these entries will be pretty much all over the place and probably spammed out throughout the year....aha...wei....

one of the highlights of the con for me was the food and obviously the people. Not too fond of the weird weather lol. It was raining then sunshine then rain again. But oh well, it was during Winter/Spring ish so I guess? But it was very convenient that the food trucks were all posted right outside my hotel. Holler and the house of blues was also down the street from our hotel. Yum
Chicken waffles with spicey mayo and banana nutella waffles from the food truck. Grilled chicken ceasar salad from the house of blues and some fruity drink ahaha

 

I think one of our biggest worry leaving CA to fly into a con was just not knowing where everything or anything is AHAH or even how to get from our airport to the actual con, I didnt realize that Southwest flies into its own airport exclusively away from the regular airport ovo;; but luckly enough sister-in-law lives in Houston and was nice enough to pick us up and take us to get Subway during our flight in QwQ Godblessssss we didn't have time to really go shop for provisions since she was taking a long break from work to pick us up and take us to the con uwu;; its ok, we survived off the food trucks but this taught me to /pack/ some snacks even if its gonna be in my check-in coz wow. I didnt even know where the nearest store was by the hotel and the hotel didnt have a shuttle system but all taxis. Fuck no ):

I have some other photos from the con but didn't quite make it in this entry again I'll have to go back in and redo those...or something ahaha. When we got the con day 0 it was quite nice being able to take in the place and whatnot. But wow I think a good chunk of our time was spent waiting in line! Now was the beginning of the downfall for me /:

There was no visible lines for press, or a press packet for us press people. I also bought a regular badge since we didn't get the OK for press till like, 2 weeks prior to the con and when I had asked for a refund there was no reply on their email, facebook or even twitter. Whut. So I ended up with 2 badges /: uh ok....and they had shoved Press people in the same line as the upgraded pass people but for some reason regular pass holder lines were moving *so much* quicker than our lines....wtf...and when we were asking them questions no one could give us any distinct answer so I eventually gave up and walked away...
I don't even remember what we had for dinner that night, probably the left over subways sandwhiches we had??? aah idk but leslie flew in the night before lol and wasnt able to check into the hotel till we got there aha...but the hotel staff was quite friendly in comparison to most hotel staffs in CA! ahaha I feel CA hotels are so done with us con goers! WOW.

I don't even remember when Ying flew in AHAHA I like to think it was the evening of Day 0?? AhaHA coz I remember Day 1 being a cluster fuck ahaha I had to clock in some work time while at the hotel so good thing I brought my laptop with me and the hotel offered AT&T wifi woohoo so I was able to work from my hotel room but the hotel did provide free macs to use downstairs OvO! Toshi was still hard at work on her cosplays uwu;; and had taken over the hotel room simultaneously working on Tidus and Dragoon...

More foods from the food truck! We even got to hang with the band at the bar right downstairs of our hotel. Nice nice. No photos pls.  Sakito and Hitsugi were both pretty chill
