Black hEAVEN: AX 2015 RECAP

Forever backlogged on entries! I'm not sure how long I've put off putting this entry together only to realize I don't really have much photos to post from AX lol...since I don't think I did as much as I thought I did or just didn't document as much of it...sy sewing and working on projects, Hopefully I'll be able to que up some entries of them. I have locked myself in the house for weeks ahaha and have skipped a few summer cons LOL (worth) gearing up for big projects to come tho!

But onto the entry~

I'm having to rely on my backlogged IG to get me through this entry since I really didn't take much :x
I wasn't originally planning on going to AX all weekend anyway since last years AX was just a total bust but this year I had more friends from the East Coast coming so I figured uwuwuwuwu why not make the treeeek out there since their coming all the way to the west coast to kick it.

I skipped day 1 for work since I took a few days after Ax to hang out with friends :x and ended up getting there late Day 1. Not much activity was done though, just caught up with friends, got coffee and watched them do a sketch jam and of course last minute work on some cosplays. So day 1 was pretty much 0 activity...

But as everyone pretty much knows, I've been on a huge Fate binge prior to AX and I had honestly no plans on making any of the 2 other costumes I brought with me to AX but as fate would have decided LOOOO it happened....

back track to the week/days before AX:

Not on the photo but I had also finished my friends Noel costume before AX but she ended up having to remake a few pieces while we were at the hotel....

Fast forward/backtrack to AX AX lol

the room turned out to be smaller than I had expected :o apparently theres 2 different hotels in the same building so I thought I had booked it with the same hotel I had last year (minus the luxury of a suite) but wowowewow nope. But we still made it work since we had a bed-cough dealio and the king sized bed fits most of everyone else. Yush. I had stored everyones empty luggage in the car too so we were able to maneuver the space a round and best of all- we had free wifi. You know what that meant:

Apparently I make it my personal mission to get everyone into Fate...prior to AX I had converted another friend to join my fate trash legion...and here we are again...

Day 2 was FATE TRASH DAY (I think...then again, all weekend was basically Fate Trash days looo)

THANKFULLY ENOUGH THAT DAY 2 WAS ONEOF THE COOLEST DAYS AT AX OR I WOULD HAVE LITERALLY DIED UNDER ALL THAT VELVET
surprisingly the traffic at AX wasnt as bad as it was last year, sneaking in the dealers hall was a breeze (oops) and the weather was much more forgiving...

I spent most of my time at the dealers hall on a quest for more fate trash. uwu;;
I didn't wear Saber for too long since her shoes are soooo painful....I'd like to rewear her again someday lol...I need to find someone to just wear Saber for me so I can shoot her too...

When the sun went down we changed into Maid versions.

I found gold at AX - Gudetama merch booth. Sadly they didnt have enough really. but I had to snag a Gudetama shirt >w<
I kinda wish I got 2 now tbh...coz...Gudetama...

I did steal everyones free stickers, chopsticks and pins that they were giving away...

Day 2(day 1 for me) was pretty chill in the evening time. No one got hella turnt. I had a mixed drink and went out to chill. And I found BLACK DEVILS WOAH >w<!!!!!! Yes. Gold.

Not alot of people I knew were at AX to really get turnt. which was good LOL(!?!?!?) so I spent the rest of the evening quiet, watched animu at the hotel and editted some photos on my slow afk laptop...so spoiled by my new desktop.

OK SERIOUSLY GUYS, ANYONE WHO GOES TO SUMMER CONS OR ANY CONS IN GENERAL REALLY REALY NEEDS THIS. THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT LOL TO GET YOURSELF ONE OF THESE WIPPIES. IT CAN BE LOCATED AT THE TRAVEL SECTION OF YOUR LOCAL TARGET.

THESE AMAZING WIPPIES WILL CLEAN YOU UP FROM YOUR NASTY SWEAT AND LEAVE YOU FRESH WITH POWDERY FINISH.

Because if you know me, I have a tendency to go shower right after getting out of a cos - coz I aint about that sweat life...but this is such a time saver.

I needed a simple easy cos to run around in. and why not fate trash it upppp

I also managed to meet up with Homo Face1 (shirleyfaceeeee) for the first time QWQ yay new friends and then from there, squad was bornnn (ok not yet but you get it)

This was probably one of the few things I shot at AX tbh :X

since I didn't really book any shoots since I was in cosplay and was there late...

but shooting Persona was an experience on its own. I'll be posting the persona set later with more BTS lol!!

Oh, before putting on RIN! Man those lenses were so bright!

Dueba 3-tones blue lenses. LOVE THIS SERIES.

After shooting Sakizou and Persona, we all went back to the hotel and NorCal buddies Yolo-ed down last minute to AX! Friend reunion!!!!

We all ended up piling in cars and headed over to the 626 Night Market, first time going.

So much food! We got there quite late and got the last leg of everything but it was great.

Everyone ordered something different and we all ended up sharing.

Still managed to get quite full.

TREATS SAYURI BROUGHT BACK FROM JAPAN!!!

I haven't tried the special blend one yet though...

I seriously have to save and ration these out...yeah you can order them online but so much trouble.

I also met my idol LOL

I got to try ramen burger, it was ok. The flavoring was ALRIGHT. The ramen was quite oily coz I guess they had to fry it. Overall, it was ok. And of course, Toshi had to grab that one....

I feel this entry is all over the place - this is what I get for backlogging forever. But really, nothing much happened lol after the crew came and we had fun at the nightmarket. AX this year was pretty dead. We had more fun just kicking it. Of course to end all cons we had to have Korean BBQ lol!

I was inline to meet the eggggg and of course the best trash loot out of the entire weekend: Another waifu to add to my collection >w< I really want the red one but jfc $100+
