202. Lovely Shoes.net Review

This review is gonna be from http://www.lovelyshoes.net, the shoes are not sponsored, I actually purchased these with my own money but I know a lot of people were pretty skeptical about the shop since the prices are so low~ and I know I've seen a few other bloggers blog about this website before to. I've been eyeing a pair of shoes from their website, and the sad thing is, a lot of their shoes are sold out (atleast the ones I wanted) but luckily these ones were not sold out so I nabbed them!

The shoes were around $19something, so I estimated $20 + another 10-15 for shipping, shipping is based on weight. They offer different types of shipping, from EMS rush delivery to basic Air Mail.

One thing you gotta keep in mind though, the more shoes you buy (more than 1 pair) you're most likely going to look at paying EMS shipping (which starts at the base price + an additional 10-15, per pair since everything is based on weight) so the price can easily sky rocket. I dont really advice doing a group order since the shipping is going to easily go up....

The shoes I got are these babies;
their made out of soft pleather and the soles are not heavy at all! Infact their incredibly light weight! From the website, it says the material is rubber, which does make sense since its pretty light weight, I dont feel any drag at all when wearing them and their actually incredibly comfortable which I was a big relief as I thought I was going to need insoles in there.


Shipping: I paid for Regular Air Mail, which took about 15 long agonizing days ): if your incredibly impatient like me, it might almost be worth spending the extra cash for EMS shipping orz

Communication: Every time I had a question I got a reply within 24 hours of submitting it and they were even nice enough to provide me a tracking # for my package.

From what I can tell right off the bat, I don't have much complain about the construction of the shoes, which I definitely lucked out as I've heard from other people the sizing may differ from one shoe to another and have had issues with the heels on their shoes. So I guess I definitely lucked out on this one. The only thing I can note is the heel. Which I have a photo at the bottom.

It's not that big of a deal tbh, you get what you pay for.  The only thing I can note about this is thepleather material sticks out a little bit past the cork at the bottom.

I went shopping after Fanime~ I guess? LAWL, been needing a new bag/purse and wallet for a while now *u* so I was on the hunt to look for something! The bag I was using for forever was a messenger sling bag or something in a camo print. LOL, Ive had it for like...years and though I've switched back and forth with other bags I've always come back to it coz it was so convenient to just sling over you versus carrying a hand bag /:
So now I wanted to try and find something better, more 'mature' looking mebe ahahaha.
So the hunt at Ross began! >:D ahahaha, originally I keep eyeing some Betsey Johnson ones but their always either TOO small or TOO big. Needed a medium sized one, but that never happened. So Alas I found something else >8D

and I found a new wallet! *u* Normally I prefer the trifold stick it in your back pocket dude type wallets XD but this was just too awesome!!!!

their incredibly shiny and has 2 layers! You can fold the outer purple layer to reveal the purple leopard print :D now I need new skirts and tights to go with this LOLZ. Been eyeing the SPR sites for awhile but I think I'll have to replicate a few items since I dont really wanna drop too much $$$ before AX/Am2 this year x.X;;
could always go for more tops too~ I guess.

And I also got new black flats. Their totally hipster >_> ergh. But something quick and easy to wear to work. I dont really give much a damn when it comes to work, since I pretty much have a 'standard' uniform for work. AHAHA. Aka shit I wont really wear out side of work but dont mind wearing?...ahahaa


Easy to slip on and would go with skinny jeans and a loose top = which I found myself to be a staple in my work wardrobe lately. Layering it up with cardigans and jackets too.

Not very stylist but hey, its for work :P

I also just got new glasses and updated my perscription too. *u* shit cost too much since I dont have insurance! GEIIII! D8< next check I'll be ordering circle lenses so I don't have to keep wearing my glasses ALL the time xD I'm sure I can still use the same prescription on my glasses even if I havent gotten my contact lens fitting exam yet. trololol. Shit is another fucking $60.

Looking to try the new Tsubasa Masuwaka Bambi Lens series in 15mm! Might get reg. geo ones for a more 'everyday wear' (aka work) in 14mm or less than 14.5mm def! xDDD nothing TOO out there! :o

I need to get down and start working on some Cosplay for friends for AX/AM2 this weekend too @_@ll

Photo dump~ I havent been updating lately. Life has been busy busy. I wont bore you with my real life drama llama :D

preparations for XD Eksdee's launch has been pushed back but we're still working hard, theres plenty of things that needs to be done. Several events are coming up since its Halloween! :D
photoshoots to do, stylings to do, costumes to sew and prep for fashion shows. Oh my!

I think its funny, SD is super warm in the morning but when the sun goes down
its like 'hello winter! freeze freeze freeze!', the last week we've had a spree of COLD weather and now all of a sudden, its WARM again D': I decided to give them a shot since it was cold whenever we have meetings outside D': since EVERYONE and their MOM is at freakin' starbucks hogging up all the damn OUTLETS! *rage*

I use to DISLIKE Starbucks 'hot' coffee drinks but I figured I'd give it a shot >D. And now I'm addicted. mhmm~
I personally like the carmel machiatto and I just DRENCH it with vanilla powder XDDD! and whenever I fill up my point card and get free 'shots' I like to get a shot of Toffee Nut! :3

I mentioned in another entry, I really like their place, they have waffles, crepes, coffee (hot and cold!) and gelato! O_O review coming soon~

Their ANOTHER pair of Doc Martens and once again I got them for a bargain! :D I own the exact or the exact same cut in 'purple distress' :3
I normally prefer platformed boots but I love Doc Martens so I dont mind running around short in these haha!
